Rigid Polyurethane foam
has been used to insulate pipes for over
30 years. The insulation is done to
maintain carrier media at constant
temperature over long distances. The
carrier media can be steam , hot water,
oil or chilled water. |

SAHRAFOAM Pipe Insulation
foams are formulated into two categories:
Spray On Pipe
Insulation -
These CFC free water
based systems that are sprayed on pipes
with insulation thicknesses of 25mm to
250mm. Densities range from 50 kg/m3
upwards. |

SAHRAFOAM Pipe
injection systems are used in combination
with High or Low Pressure injection
machines from SAIP. The advantages of this
system are less wastage of foam, easy and
economical injection of foam and no need
of extra moulds as the outer jacket pipe
is used as a mold. |

Injection : Cost effective insulation of
pipes of various diameters.

The spray foam
system is used in combination with a GX-7
gun that moves over a rotating carrier pipe.
SAHRAFOAM spray system for this application
has a very fast reactivity which ensures the
foam cures instantly so that additional
layers can be applied simultaneously. This
ensures a seamless insulation. We recommend
this kind of system where fast continuous
production of pipes is needed |
